B.........log give away!

It's my first year etsyversary, and you could get the presents! From 1:00 pm Friday, January 16, until 1:00 pm Monday, January 19 CST, I'm offering one of my crocheted mini-tote bags and six dish scrubbies along with free shipping anywhere to one of you who follows these rules:

1) Click on my etsy mini to your right to enter my Etsy
Shop.

2) Come back here to leave a comment about any
item...I'm going to be brave and accept positive and
negative comments. Your name will then be put in
the drawing.

3) If you wish to be entered into the drawing twice, also
give me a suggestion for my shop or tell me what you
would like to see in my shop (within reason!)

On Monday at 1:00 pm CST, I will do a random drawing and the winner will be notified ON THIS BLOG with instructions about how to proceed. If no winner comes forward by Tuesday at 1:00 pm, I'll draw a different name until I have a winner! Good luck!

Also, in honor of the etsyversary, I'm offering a VERY special deal: 50% off any ONE item in my Etsy shop on Saturday, January 17, and February, January 18 only. Just put the promo code "Etsyversary" in notes to the seller and I will credit your paypal account. You must pay shipping, however. Thank you, and please note that the 50% off deal ends at midnight on Sunday night.

I really liked the Pine needle basket with figure 8 center. It's a fascinating piece, and I especially was intrigued by the center working. It's quite a lovely piece of workmnanship that I'd love to have, if I had the money for it right now.

I also really like the variety of crafts you have available in your shop.

First, I love all of your items. I think the afghans are simply gorgeous. I think your prices are too cheap for the amount of work that goes into one, though.
Second, I love all your items but I am a person that would rather buy the pattern and make it myself. That is just a thought.

You're selling Camille?!? How can you do that? Or does she just need to go on adventures with other people? :) Reminds me of the ToyVoyagers.com that my sister is involved with. She signs up to be a host to a "toy" and then she takes the toy around to area sites. The toy then blogs about their adventures back to his/her original parents.

As for the items in your Etsy store - I absolutely love the pine needle baskets, but can't choose one in particular. I also crochet and make cards. For Christmas this year I tried scrubbies for the first time but yours turned out much better than mine.

Where did you learn pine needle weaving? I have a purse that was made of pine needles.. and I treasure it.

I think your price on the figure 8 basket is too low. :)

I really like your pine needle baskets but I'm partial to the one with the pink agate. Thank you for introducing me to your store.

Apple scrubbies by the half dozen

I particularly like these.
They are inexpensive, bright and cheerful. Personally I wouldn't use them as scrubbies though, they're too pretty. I would buy sets of them for small emergency gifts, even little kids (my grand-children) would like these for play kitchen. For adults they could be for housewarming, birthday, christmas.....
Thoughful but inexpensive.
This was very hard to pick because you have so many beautiful items.
I'm going with the apples!

This is my second post for the ideas on your shop.First of all you have a lot of talent and your items are awesome. I can't afford some of the items myself. My sugestion for your shop would be to add a small item thank-you with your orders. Everyone loves a small surprise thank-you and would be more likely to come back.Btw, I'm the one that loves your little apples, (hint, hint) they would be nice to tuck into the baskets. You could also add some other small thankies lke maybe fridgies or small flowers, not sure about the cards though, maybe just an extra one special and different from the set ordered.I really wish I could afford one of your baskets and I would love to win one of your tote bags. Thanks for the contest give-away

I just love your pine needle baskets! They are so beautiful and I can't even imagine how long it takes you to make them but they are gorgeous!

I love the baskets and think the christening gowns are sweet.

I would work on the lighting on the last photos of the gowns--they are so dark.
And I agree with Denise. The scrubbies seem to be popular so maybe introduce other veggies.

i love your items, very beautiful creations. I think you should increase your prices because it does not reflect your work and time.
I love the way the scrubbies are displayed. Makes you feel that you are in the kitchen!!!

I love the baby afghans. You do beautiful work. I can't imagine working on a pine needle basket... that must be very intense.

For a suggestion: I would suggest baby caps and booties!

Hi, I really love this http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=12275203
the Ohio Star throw...love the colors, and that it looks like a quilt at first glance, but I'm sure it would be cuddlier (is that a word?) than an old quilt! I like your dish scrubbies too, because they look like old doilies and are so cute! You have a good price range for any budget as well!

I just love your pine needle baskets, there are so many neat styles. I really like the sewing one & the lidded one, but all are beautiful. I only wish I could afford one right now. Your blankets are lovely, too. The scrubbies & dishclothes are very reasonably priced as well.

I am amazed by your pine needle baskets. I love baskets and surely wish there was more green in my purse. Of course, that does not do you any good....smile....
I do not have any other good ideas other than to agree with the ones already posted.
Everything that you have done is wonderful and I admire your talent.

I love your work. You offer such a wide variety of items. I actually tried to purchase two items but I couldn't get the view cart to work so I didn't go any further. I am legally blind so maybe I missed something I was supposed to click on or something. My eyes are getting tired so I'm going to stop for now and come back later and try again.

Pine needle weaving is an old art. You do it extremely well. How long have you been weaving? I was impressed with the Pine Needle basket with the lid.

Would you consider doing some Pine needle coasters?

I really like all of your pine needle things. I once tried to work with them..and soon gave it up.

Some etsiers who make scrubbies have a deal with some soap makers and sell a set of scrubbies with a bar of soap. It seems to work well, so I recommend it to you.

Very nice shop.

pine needle basket puzzles me - it's very attractive, but do you mena it's actually made with pine needles? (or am I having a senior moment?)

Wow! Your pine basket is beautiful. You're very talented to have designed and made it. The rest of your work is good also, but the basket is the star in your crown - so to speak.

I too am a crocheter, have my own business online, teach crochet classes at BOCES,have stuff on Etsy too...You are very talented, your prices are very fair,I especially loved the amigurimi bunnies and the pink and white baby afghan..my suggestions would be to add some more amigurimi and perhaps a boy's christening outfit..and this idea that you have to run this contest is a brilliant one, savvy business-wise :)...
Keep up the great work..Oh, I also love your descriptions of the items you sell...very thorough and I know from experience that people like that when they are going to make a purchase.
