C.........hristening Gown

It is always such an honor to know that a baby has been baptized in one of my Christening gowns or wrapped up for such an occasion in one of my blankets. So I just had to present my newest items. The gown is a design original and took more than 25 hours to make. Doing such projects also keeps my mind off of our terrible weather! Right now it's a sleet storm...

Beautiful.

What a great gift to have such talent. I am not very creative. I can't paint, draw, cook or knit although I was a pretty good old fashioned glass blower in college. In fact, I am not very good in the kitchen either. :)However, I have tremendous respect and admiration for folks with such abilities.

Gosh, can you imagine a kid's store in a small shop on main street with all your goodies for sale? Sign reading "No two items alike" or "Handmade in America" "Rare Creations" or something like that. Have you not thought about this?

Thank you to harrach and regina. It was fun to do.
Fearless, I would love to do a B&M store, but the time element is prohibitive!

What a gorgeous christening gown, and a lovely heirloom.
