One more week!

Whew!!  Just finished a hippopotamus!!  He came on the heels of 12 scrubbies and a new beanie cap...so all but some organization was completed today.

Above is a thank you note that will be offered at the craft sale next weekend, but it's also to thank all of you who have been following this series of blog posts.

Tomorrow's challenge is another dozen scrubbies, the organizing that should have been done today, and the start of an elephant...big tusks...oops...tasks (can you tell I'm getting sillier by the minute?)

S.........pring!!

Even though it's not "officially" spring until next week, I am so ready for it to arrive, and the rain falling now makes me feel it is here. The present Etsy Bloggers Carnival has asked if we had spring items in our Etsy shops, so I quickly got to work and am introducing some new thank you notes in lovely spring colors. These feature my hand crocheted Irish roses accented with a gold brad. Spring flowers and polka dots complete the look. They are available in green, blue, and gold and are sold in sets of four. C'mon, Spring!!!!

F.........ebruary Experiment: Day 3

If I could send all of you who are following my blog a personal "Thank You", this is how I would do it! Your comments really keep me going at it.

Day three of my February experiment is well underway. Yesterday I accomplished the following goals: blogged, listed two more items, finished deleting the latest photos, worked on a baby afghan and my new product, edited four shop items, read and commented on several blogs, and posted in all three team forums. DH thought I was glued to the computer, but it gave me a good feeling. Again, my shop got quite a few views and there were more comments than usual on my blog posts. There still have been no February sales, but it's still early in the month.

Today my shop attention will be abbreviated because I have to go out for lunch and play mah jongg this afternoon (poor me, right?) Hope you all have a fulfilling day!

F.........un new idea

Since beginning on Etsy more than a year ago, I've been searching for a neat way to include my business card in a thank you note to customers. Then last Saturday at my local Stampin' Up dealer, I found these neat enclosures. They were originally designed to present store gift cards, but a business card fits in the slots just perfectly as well. The front reads "a little note of thanks" and the back. "handmade with love". They're available in my Etsy shop in packages of three, six, or nine in a cheery red, a soft green, and an elegant gray, measure about 4" x 2 1/2" and include envelopes. I intend to use these from now on to thank my customers. There's room for a short note inside. We frequently thank folks with a gift card, so I can use these also. If anyone is interested in a different quantity or a different design, please contact me. Of course, I don't include my business card or a gift card!
