Just finished crocheting a new eco-friendly shopping bag. It seems to hold a lot and is quite sturdy. After I give it a few tries on my own, I'll probably make some for my etsy shop. I remember years ago my grandmother always carried what she called a "string bag" in her purse for shopping. So this also reminds me of her. . . another example of life coming full circle!
So glad you could pop in! Please enjoy the pictures and stories about family, friends, and crafting...the three great joys of my life! Please feel free to click on to my etsy website below to view items in my etsy shop!
My husband, David, and I live in delightful Kohler, Wisconsin, about 50 miles north of Milwaukee, a garden community which is home to the Kohler Plant, The American Club, and Blackwolf Run Golfcourse.
David is retired from the business world and loves to golf, read, garden, and watch sports. He has two grown sons, Jeffrey in Oconomowoc and Steven in California. I am a retired Spanish , English and Theater teacher with two grown daughters....Mary a CPA in the Madison area, and Becky a Reading Specialist in Massachusetts.
My passion is crafting, especially pine needle baskets, crocheting, and making greeting cards. I also love doing things with my family and friends, especially my mah jongg/Red Hat group.
