Our relaxing train ride took about 27 hours from Columbus, Wisconsin, to East Glacier, Montana. Even though I had been to Glacier before, I was delighted (and the others were amazed) to be greeted by a red shuttle bus that transported us to beautiful Glacier Park Lodge. A carpet of flowers lines the way from the depot to the Lodge. It was also a joy to see the mountains again. The week before the weather had been cold and rainy, but we were treated to sunny skies and warm weather. More pictures of the Lodge and Glacier Park will follow in a couple of days...stay tuned!

Oh how wonderful to be at Glacier!!! I went there on vacation last September and it is one of the most gorgeous places on earth. In fact I blogged about it (a little)here:

I love old buildings like that!
Beautiful photos...the mountains in the back are stunning!!! Sounds like you had a great time...I don't know that my husband or boys would sit for 27 hours on a train ride though...can you imagine how many hours this train ride would take from Florida? ;>) We hope to go west some time in the future...but we will drive hopefully...I don't like to fly. Driving through different states and seeing new landscapes really appeals to me. Look forward to seeing more photos.
It looks beautiful there! Can't wait to see more of your trip! We've been wanting to go up north and visit Glacier Park and hope too someday soon.
Sounds wonderful! The flowers are so pretty!
This worked for me when I copied and pasted it:
