B.........log give away!

It's time to choose this year's Christmas ornament and since I cannot decide which one to make, you get the chance to choose and perhaps win one of these two mini pine needle baskets. Each is about 2 1/4" long and is tied with a red raffia bow. Basket #1 is an oval shape with a wide handle crocheted of the same natural raffia as the sewing.
Basket #2 is also oval, but is more of a tiny gathering basket with a narrower handle. It is shown with a tiny pine bough.
This is what you have to do to win the mini basket of your choice:

To be placed once in the drawing sign up to follow this blog by clicking on "Subscribe to" in the sidebar to the right. If you already are a follower you are automatically entered.

To be placed twice in the drawing, also comment here on which one you would select and why.

To be placed three times in the drawing, also visit my Etsy shop http://peacoxcreations.etsy.com/ and comment on one of the items or give me a suggestion.

This giveaway (did I mention free shipping as well) will run from today, June 28, and close on July 4 at 7:00pm CDT. My dear mother, who is 94 years old and as honest as the day is long, will draw the winner at that time and you will be notified immediately.

Thank you and good luck!!

Such cute baskets! I'd pick Basket #1 just because a little trinket could be hidden inside it.

I think I'm a follower of your blog but I'll double check and if not, I will be.

I visited your shop and don't have any suggestions since everything seems great to me. I really like your fish! So colorful and fun!

I love the second one! Something about the pattern just draws me in...

I like basket #1 better. It's more traditional, and reminds me of a basket I would use to put a variety of "little" {lol} things into, for a gift.

I'm thinking I'm a follower too, but I'll check! {:-Deb

Hi! I think I would choose #2...I love mini gathering baskets, and on this one you can really see the exquisite stitching detail. The little pine bough also gives it a nice Christmas-y flair! I can see, though, why it's hard to choose...you do such beautiful work on ALL of your baskets!

Ooh, I just browsed through your ETSY shop again, and just adore your pine needle baskets! I am especially enamoured by the vase basket and the soap dish! The vase is gorgeously detailed and I love the variety of stitches you used! And love the cane base of the soap dish...I have never seen that done before and I find the combination to be really nice!

I think my favorite in your store is the Round pine needle basket with stoneware center.

Both are cute, but I think I like #2 basket better.

Hi, found you through EstyFast. I love your baskets. I'd choose number 2. I like the "gathering basket" shape. I'd put some tiny silk flowers in it to display on my curio cabinet. Also I like your Etsy shop. You have some nice things. Toni

I like the second one. I think the pattern of the weaving shows up better.

I've followed your blog!

Both minis are darling, but I like the little gathering style basket as a few sprigs of greenery and berries would show up well laid across the inside.

They are both cunning! I think the second one if I had to choose though! Adorable!

I would like to see the second basket as your Christmas ornament, maybe sith a single poinsettia in it to emphasize it's gathering function but still allow the beautiful workmanship to show. Or maybe a nightingale (from "the First Nightingale's Song"). Or maybe a tiny snowflake . Or . . . OK, I'll stop, but the basket is beautiful and can be made "Christmas-y" with the addition of so many things that would - most importantly - let the beauty of the basket itself show through.

I have to vote for #1 as it is just perfect to hide a little something sweet in the tree!
Your shop is quite good maybe posting a mini tutorial of utube might be a way to increase traffic flow. People really are fascinated by pine needle baskets and often didn't know it was possible. They also like to shop from artists who they've taken a class from or maybe read about in a column in their local paper.
I did a public demo. on rug hooking and got immediate inquiries as to where I sold my work.
Those are my traffic increasing ideas. Good luck,
