The delightful girls who participated in the Greeting Card Workshop at the Kohler Library show off their creations. It was amazing what a variety of ways they embellished some very simple designs and made them into unique works of art! You rock, girls!!

G.........reeting cards

Besides making pine needle baskets and crocheting, I also love making greeting cards. Of course, I justify my purchases of paper, tape, card stock, and other embellishments by rationalizing that it costs less than going to the store for cards! The 5x7 and 4x5 cards I'm showing here, coordinate with the pine needle baskets, but can certainly be used alone. They are all design originals. When we need a card, all we have to do is check the card tote where these, and many more, are stored!

T.........here's a reason they call it "hand" crafted!

Yesterday several friends and I made 80 thank-you notes. Just thought this might be the best way to show the process. Of course we had a lovely time and a great lunch as well. This is "hand crafting" at its best!
